  Description: The GES DISC is one of eight NASA Distributed Active Archive Centers (DAACs) that offer Earth science data, information, and services to research scientists, applications scientists, applications users, and students. The GES DISC is the home (archive) of Precipitation, Atmospheric Chemistry and Atmospheric Dynamics data and information, including data from TRMM, AIRS, OMI, MLS, HIRDLS, Sorce, TOVS and A-Train instruments. The GES DISC also offers model output from hydrological models and the Modern Era Retrospective-Analysis for Research and Applications (MERRA).
